Some quotes don't need much, ya know? This quote is one of those to me. The simplicity and frankness of the words really struck me when I first read it. It's one of those things that I try to remind myself of when I'm feeling down on myself or when I can' shake a crappy mood and it often helps. Hope it will do the same for you.
Hellllooooo 2015! 2014 was very good to me, without a doubt, there were worrying moments and tough days but looking back I can see that 2014 was good to me and mine. I'm sure 2015 will be similar! Looking forward to a great 2015 and wishing you and yours the same!

I had the best time meeting James, Ellie and their new puppy Marigold this past weekend. How cute are the three of them!

Guys, I made the above image (?), inspirational poster (?), in 2012! What. I found it while digging through files as I try to organize this business of mine. It was a very good find at a very apropos time. You can't really see the quote in the image but I remember how much I enjoyed making it back then. So I plan on making a new quote poster (for lack of a better name) every week as a project next year! Well, I plan on starting now but will commit to continuing it through the end of 2015.
Happy belated Thanksgiving! I hope you had a great holiday and are still full from all the yummy food. OK maybe not still full but you know. My Husband and I are off wondering around Big Bend right now so I scheduled this post with that trip in mind but I think this is probably one of those quotes that rings true on various levels.

As I mentioned last week I love a good quote. So, wise words is now a series. BOOM. Sometimes, I need a few inspiring words to keep me going or push me further and I hope sharing these wise words helps those who need the same.
P.S. I created the graphic above at recite.com and will probably continue to do so while I figure out where i'm going with this.

I love a good quote. It might be cheesy, silly, or cliche but when i'm questioning myself or need a little pick me up, I turn to wise words from those who have been there and done that. Since I'm trying to get the hang of blogging on the regular, I thought it would be nice to share some of the quotes that inspire me here. The plan is to share them with one of my images or something I have made. Today though it's just the comforting words of D.W. Wincott. Hashtag, the struggle is real. ;)

My good friend had her second baby girl on September 8th and I was lucky enough to capture her first few days. Beautiful models make it so easy ;)
